Shipping & returns
Free U.S. shipping on every ring. Each ring is made to order, so please allow 2–3 weeks to make it, then about 5–7 days for delivery. You'll get a tracking number when it ships.
30-day guarantee: if you're not completely happy for any reason, we'll replace your ring or give you a full refund within 30 days. Just email Ringsbykai24@gmail.com with your order details.
Please note: our rings are handcrafted jewelry, not bullion. Making a ring removes some of the coin, so we don't guarantee its metal weight or value.
A birth-year coin, a challenge coin, a recovery chip or a token from someone you miss. Send it to us and we'll shape it by hand into a ring that's yours alone.
Choose your size and finish, then check out like any other ring.

From coin to ring
The coin stays the star.
The lettering and design of your coin wrap around the band, so the ring keeps the story the coin started.

By request
Gold and one-of-a-kind coin rings.
Looking for something rare, like a ring made from a gold coin? These are made one at a time by request and priced by quote. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll take it from there.
This ring is made from a one ounce .999 fine silver round. “The Price of Liberty” and the eagle wrap around the outside, and “Don’t Tread on Me” sits on the inside. Want the rattlesnake on the outside instead? We make it that way too.
Some of these coins were in someone's pocket more than a hundred years ago. Each one is hand-picked and shaped into a ring sized for you. We're a small, family-owned shop, and every ring still goes through Dave's hands.
“When I am working with a coin from the late 1800's or early 1900's I often imagine the coin in an old settlers pocket or tossed up on the saloon bar for a shot of whisky and a bath.”
David Hartman · Owner and ring maker
How a coin becomes a ring
Five steps, all by hand.
Hand-picked. Each coin is chosen for its condition, detail and story.
Punched. A hole is punched through the center.
Annealed. The coin is heated and quenched so the metal can be shaped.
Stretched. It's slowly shaped into a ring at your size, keeping the coin's detail.
Finished. Smoothed and polished by hand, then inspected before it ships.

If making your ring will take longer than 2–3 weeks, we'll contact you with an updated time. In a hurry? Contact us before you order so we can make sure we have your coin in stock.
International orders: yes, we ship outside the U.S. There is an extra shipping fee, so please email us or call before you order and we'll tell you the cost.
30-day guarantee
We stand behind every ring with an unconditional 30-day guarantee. If you're not completely happy with your ring for any reason, we'll gladly replace it or give you a full refund within 30 days of purchase.
Our rings start as coins, but making a ring removes some of the coin, including the hole in the middle. That changes its weight and form, so we don't guarantee the weight or metal value of any ring. You're buying handcrafted, wearable art, not a collectible coin or its melt value.
This page explains what information Coin Rings by Kai LLC, also known as Unique Change Jewelry (“we”), collects on this website and what we do with it. Short version: we use your information to make and ship your ring and to answer your questions. We never sell it.
What we collect
When you order: your name, email, phone number, shipping address and any gift note. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
When you contact us: whatever you include in your email or tell us on the phone.
When you mail us your own coin: the name and return address on your package, so we can send your ring back.
Your cart: the rings in your cart are saved in your own browser so they’re still there when you come back. This stays on your device.
Website visits: if we use website analytics, it’s only to count visits and see which pages and rings people look at. If we use Google Analytics, it uses cookies, which you can block in your browser settings.
How we use it
To make, ship and track your order, send order and shipping updates, answer your questions, handle returns under our 30-day guarantee, and improve the website. We don’t sell, rent or trade your information.
Who else handles it
Stripe processes payments.
Cloudflare hosts the website and sends our order notices.
Shipping carriers get your name and address to deliver your ring.
Google provides our email and, if turned on, website analytics.
Each has its own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep order records as long as we need them for your order, returns, and our tax and business records. Ask us any time to see, fix or delete your information, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Children
This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
These terms apply when you buy from this website. They are between you and Coin Rings by Kai LLC, also known as Unique Change Jewelry (“we”).
Your order
Every ring is made by hand to order in the size you choose. Each coin is different, so the date, wear and color of your ring may look a little different from the photos.
Prices and payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars. Payments are handled securely by Stripe. Your order is confirmed once payment goes through. We may change prices at any time, but changes never affect an order you’ve already paid for.
Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for us to make your ring. Shipping is free within the U.S. and includes tracking. Delivery usually takes 5 to 7 days after your ring ships. If your ring will take longer, we’ll contact you. For shipping outside the U.S., please contact us before ordering.
Sending us your own coin
Please ship your coin with tracking and insurance. You’re responsible for your coin until it reaches us. Once your coin is made into a ring, it can’t be turned back into a coin.
30-day guarantee
If you’re not completely happy with your ring, we’ll replace it or give you a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For rings made from your own coin, we’ll offer a remake. To start a return or exchange, email Ringsbykai24@gmail.com with your order details.
Resizing
We guarantee the fit. If your ring doesn’t fit, we’ll resize it. You pay to ship it to us, and we pay to ship it back to you.
Jewelry, not bullion
Making a ring removes some of the coin, including the hole in the middle. We don’t guarantee the weight or metal value of any ring. You’re buying handcrafted, wearable art, not a collectible coin or its melt value.
Caring for your ring
Coin rings are made from real coins and may tarnish or wear over time. This is normal and isn’t a defect.
Limits
Our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

These terms follow Michigan law.

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. The terms in place when you ordered apply to your order.
